My experience in this area:

I am a public services librarian at a busy medical society library where I handle reference and administrative responsibilities. Use of the Internet for reference purposes is an everyday occurrence. Our organization has recently expanded its telecommunications technology to include an external LAN. Educational discounts for tele- communications services are of interest to our non-profit institution which has a long history of providing health care information to Pennsylvania public libraries.

What I hope to learn:

The ramifications of the annual discounts - which institutions qualify, ramifications of accepting discounts, what is happening in other states.
