How I heard about Universal Service: Pennsylvania: announcement on mailing list

My experience in this area:

I am director of a medium-size public library, and as such, oversee our LAN,a library automation system, and mutliple Internet connections, each through its own modem. We are beginning an afterschool homework center which will incorporate another LAN and Internet connections. These experiences have provided me with some background in the use of technology to access information, and to evaluate the most effective and efficient way(s) to provide such information. I believe that no matter where the technology is going, we must keep sight of our mission to our community. This, to me, may be our greatest challenge.

What I hope to learn:

I hope to learn how to best provide telecommunications connections to access information for our community of patrons.
