I was at a link to learn seminar on Friday. At this meeting we were told to be careful with consulting firms who would like to be given money to fill out the erate forms. I am going to a meeting on Wednesday evening which involves one consortium that our school is with. It seems that the push in this consortium is to hire a firm for $1500 per school. Does this seem to be the norm? Is this what other schools are doing around the state? If we decide not to go this route does this mean that we would not qualify for the erate that the rest of the consortium would receive for distance learning? Please advise.
