RE: Introduction Questions

Unfortunately, it is my belief that politics has become solely based around the dollar. Potentially good candidates are often discouraged from running due to a lack of funds. Therefore, some system should be put in place to provide these candidates with a means to to express their issues, and more importantly a chance to compete with some of the more wealthy ones. I realize Federal campaign aid does exist, yet not even this does some of our potentially good officials any good, especially on a more local level. I am honestly at a loss as to how to do this fairly and efficiently, but I do know that something should be done.
