I am a senior at the Governor's School for international Studies in Richmond, Virginia. As an African-American female AP Government student, I feel I am obliged to participate in governmental discussions and activities in order to impose a wider range of representation. I am interested in becoming a political science major at the University of Maryland - Baltimore County in the fall of 2001. My extremely liberal views on most political issues, especially campaign finance, stem from the often time harsh cards I have been dealt growing up in the South. I look forward to hearing the opinion of you all and giving mine.
