Greetings,
I hold the position of Public Participation Specialist with the Dept. of Toxic Substances Control located in Glendale/LA California. I originally became involved in public participation issues as an activist with Greenpeace. Over the past fifteen years I have worked on public involvement issues in Australia, New Zealand, the Solomon Islands, and Japan. Last year I completed my masters thesis focusing on the development of a public involvement plan for the "Headwaters" redwood forest located in Northern. CA. Presently, I'm working on public participation issues relating to a highly controversial polluted site called the Santa Susana Field Lab owned by Boeing, NASA, and the Dept. of Energy.
